We have kicked off STOP SUISILENCE TOUR 2025 in our efforts to STOP SUISILENCE (the avoidance of discussusion about suicide)!
ON THE THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH, Mozambique will feature Angel Force Band and Friends - a collective of some of the most talented professional musicians in the world.
Not only do we have our own Angel Force Band (which includes musicians from bands such as Crosby Stills Nash, The Who, Roger Daltrey, Robbie Krieger and Sugar Ray)-- but award-winning actor, director and writer Chris Mulkey will be performing a brilliant blues set with Angel Force Band alum Scarlet Rivera (Bob Dylan band). Also performing with Scarlet will be Jeffrey Silbar -- Grammy winning songwriter with cuts from artists such as Kenny Rogers, John Cougar Mellencamp, Fleetwood Mac, Dolly Parton - and is perhaps best known for the song "Wind Beneath My Wings" from the film Beaches which received the Song of the Century Award.
Basic admission can be made thru the Mozambique website. VIP PACKAGES may be purchased thru Angel Force USA by making a tax deductible contribution here.
Veterans will received a 10% discount on these ticket packages as well as if they purchase general admission thru Mozambique.
The owner of Mozambique has given on 60 tickets in the front of the house at reserved tables. We will also feature a silent auction table and merchandise table.
$2,500 table buyers will be given the option to pre-order food and drink thru Anne Dunsmore and will also be provided with an autographed guitar, 10 tickets (cover charge and parking included).
$5,000 table buyers will receive all above benefits plus two autographed guitars.
$10,000 table buyers may request additional tickets and benefits inclued above along with 5 autographed guitars.
Discounts will be given to all table buyers for future reservations.
It is well-understood that TALKING ABOUT SUICIDE is the first step to PREVENTING SUICIDE. To this end, Angel Force USA has,for almost 7 years now, worked to encourage conversation, dialogue and understanding by entertaining, engaging and then educating people across the country. We have travelled to over 30 cities, engaged adjacent cities as well as veterans, families, youth and seniors, caregivers, and numerous municipalities in this effort. In 2025 we look forward to doubling that number.
We had our first of 12 performances at Mozambique Laguna Beach. We were honored to feature THE RESILIENT -- an American rock band primarily composed of severely wounded U.S. combat veterans, whose focus is writing and performing music that reflects the inspirations and hardships they've experienced in both their civilian lives and military careers. A couple of the members live right here in So Cal and we are pleased that they will be joining us each month. We also look forward to touring with them this summer as we honor their resilience and encourage the same for those who are at risk.
And of course there is always the chance that we will have surprise performers and speakers - YOU NEVER KNOW!
